Great Blue Eyed Toad by Eryrb Great Blue Eyed Toad by Eryrb
This warty beaut I made to sit around the garden outside, and since there are actual toads all over the place where I live, finding reference was just outside my door. Plus a friend told me how to group pictures together so that helps too.

Made from Sculpey clay over a basic foil/wire armature and painted with simple acrylics.

Oh wow, this looks so amazing!  If garden ridge or homedepot sold this, I'd buy one :D.  Did you use any kind of sealer for the paint?  If not, I wonder if they sell some kind of flat or satin type sealer.  Idk if you'd want it looking shiney, since toads usually arent. I think they sell it in spray paint, like for cars.  I dunno if the paint is compatible tho.  Car paint is acrylic, but I'm no paint expert, I just build engines and everything else on a car, lol.  Of course I'd have no problem keeping that beauty inside in my man cave out of the weather :meow:

Anyhoo, nice job!!! :la:

how much would you charge for a commission on one of these adorable toads?

Hmmm... well that's a bit tough to say. I'm not exactly familiar with how online commissions work, but if I were to figure it out I'm sure we'd be able to negotiate something. The price would mostly depend on the size of the piece, for example this one is roughly about the size of a baseball.
